Sopu vases were born in a glass blowing experimentation that aimed for testing different kinds of traditional glass-blowing techniques in a modern context. For example, different kinds of pre-moulds were used to create surfaces textures and different coloured parts were combined in the hot glass process. The idea was to create a team of individual characters that happily fit together. As an outcome we created a set of small vases that all look unique but share similar features.
