Artek tearoom is a new kind of a design fair concept that invites visitors to experience the Artek furniture world by enjoying and relaxing in the space. Restaurant services are combined in the concept to provide a full relaxing experience in the hustle and bustle of the fair. The Artek tea trolley and Kiki furniture were the classics that were lifted in the focus of the space. Traditional Japanese tearoom atmosphere with sliding doors, shifting daylight, dark colors and materiality was the source of inspiration for the spatial concept. Those elements were brought into a completely contemporary context. Spatial height differences are used in the concept to open different perspective into the space.

The realization of the exhibition space fair was done in collaboration with different sponsors and partners. Flooring materials were sponsored by Stora Enso and Bolon. Fire proofed fiber textiles were provided by Ahlstrom. Green wall solution and plants were collaborated with Innogreen. Micro cement countertops for the service desk were made by Designbetoni. Ceramic vases were created by ceramist, Saija Halko.

Studio Finna created the new fair concept and took care of spatial design as well as project management.
